Its been a while since the last post. This time I actually have a good excuse: the flu badly hit the kids. Especially S got a serious cough that almost ended up in hospital. But everyone seems to be better now and I am back in front of the sewing machine...
I pulled together some of my favorite fabrics for S. Keeping it boyish, it turned out quite frosty looking.
I added some funky Christmas Bobbles and made a little letter tag of felt. Much easier than you might expect as this super soft felt is so forgiving. This time I used my new needles and its just been so much fun as the needle goes through the felt like butter...
Couldn't stop myself adding a splash of colour. Yellow. I love it. Never been a fan so far to be honest but for a few weeks now, I am completely hooked by it.
And now K's Stocking. Pink, flowery, disco, girly, sparkly,... I love it. Hope she does too.
So. After pulling my favorite fabrics again, I just put them quickly together and then quilted an easy pattern. I love stippling. It actually looks easier then it is but with a glass of wine I am usually fine... Adding some binding and cute decorations and here we go. Easy peasy.
I love the little duck by the way...
So. Christmas Stockings done. Next up. Loads and loads of Christmas Presents. This year they all get something handmade. If they want it or not!
So. The next post will be all about this years Christmas Present production.

How cute and creative. I love K's stocking. Never thought of adding baubles. Debbie
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie. I think it's my favorite too. These colours just work brilliant together. Just girly.
DeleteOh they're wonderful - I love the tags and the baubles, especially the little duck! I suspect they're going to be well loved this year and years to come!
ReplyDeleteI hope so. Can't wait to see Ks reaction. Fingers crossed she likes it. S is probably not impressed if it's not about food... ;)
DeleteThey are lovely! I love the initials and bauble accents you made to personalize them. Such precious mementos that will make Christmas morning all that much more special. Great job! So glad you linked up to TGIFF!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. Really happy you liked it!!!
DeleteThey are absolutely gorgeous! I love all the little extras.
ReplyDeleteYou should totally come link up all these gifts for Christmas on my blog next week - I'll run the linky party through Christmas, so there's plenty of time.
Thanks Jennie, happy you like them.
DeleteI'll definately come over to your blog over Christmas and link up some of my presents!
