Finally...
Today I have a finish to share.
I made some tiny bags for all kind of sewing accessories.
I used wings of love from birch fabrics for the bag and some Kona cotton in bubble gum for the string.
I totally love how they turned out. But I need to admit that it wasn't easy.
I used this tutorial which seemed quite straight forward. And it was. But when it came to sewing the casing seam I really struggled. Wrestling the tiny bags through the machine was not easy and the seam was all over the place. After ripping and redoing it about five times I achieved these rather wonky results...
Still I like them. In fact, I think they are rather charming.

So cute!!! They sure to make great accessory bags! Thanks for the share, and for the link to the tutorial. :-) May have to make some of these!

Aw, they're super cute despite the wonky stitching. I didn't even notice until you pointed it out. ;)
ReplyDeleteGetting tiny things through a sewing machine isn't easy. My six-year-old just wore a hole in his jeans, and I can't bear the thought of mending them for that very reason -- I'm just going to buy a new pair! Your pouches are sweet. I like the combination of pink and orange. : )
ReplyDeleteThese would be perfect for storing jewelry while travelling. Very cute!
ReplyDeleteThey look great! It is hard to sew small things...good job.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! What a great idea for those wonder clips! I have a bunch and am not sure how to store them. So glad you linked up to TGIFF!
ReplyDeleteThese are so adorable. I am going to check out the tutorial to see if I can make them.
