christmas stockings for the kids

Its been a while since the last post. This time I actually have a good excuse: the flu badly hit the kids. Especially S got a serious cough that almost ended up in hospital. But everyone seems to be better now and I am back in front of the sewing machine...

I pulled together some of my favorite fabrics for S. Keeping it boyish, it turned out quite frosty looking.

I added some funky Christmas Bobbles and made a little letter tag of felt. Much easier than you might expect as this super soft felt is so forgiving. This time I used my new needles and its just been so much fun as the needle goes through the felt like butter...

Couldn't stop myself adding a splash of colour. Yellow. I love it. Never been a fan so far to be honest but for a few weeks now, I am completely hooked by it.

And now K's Stocking. Pink, flowery, disco, girly, sparkly,... I love it. Hope she does too.

So. After pulling my favorite fabrics again, I just put them quickly together and then quilted an easy pattern. I love stippling. It actually looks easier then it is but with a glass of wine I am usually fine... Adding some binding and cute decorations and here we go. Easy peasy.

I love the little duck by the way...

So. Christmas Stockings done. Next up. Loads and loads of Christmas Presents. This year they all get something handmade. If they want it or not!

So. The next post will be all about this years Christmas Present production.

    1. I hope so. Can't wait to see Ks reaction. Fingers crossed she likes it. S is probably not impressed if it's not about food... ;)
